We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our project! The BuildERS team took part in the European Emergency Number Association's annual Conference & Exhibition. This year, the event took place in Marseille, France, and reunited more than 400 practitioners, tech companies, and researchers in the field of emergency management.
In the event, BuildERS had its own booth, from where we shared our key materials with the participants: policy briefs, fact sheets, and leaflets. We also used the event as an opportunity to network and make our project known among the participants. Ago Tominga, from the University of Tartu, one of our partners, took the stage during the "Strengthening the role of civil society in disaster management" session, and held a presentation on the Vulnerability Assessment Tool, one of the innovations we take pride in from the project.
What's even better, we were joined in the event by three of our sister projects: LINKS, RESILOC, and Engage, with whom we discussed future joint activities and shared some laughs!
All in all, it was a very successful event and our dissemination efforts were worth it - BuildERS has gained quite a few followers as a result!
