End-user evaluation of new tools and technologies for disaster management

The BuildERS project team will host an online event exploring the newest technologies and tools that can be used by relevant stakeholders for disaster preparedness. More specifically, the event will focus on opportunities related to data sharing between authorities, positioning data and location-based solutions, crowd sourcing for crisis management preparedness, and emerging technologies for risk and vulnerability assessment. 

BuildERS aims to increase the resilience of European communities and citizens in the face of crises. Funded through the EU's H2020 research and innovation programme, BuildERS works on co-designing processes and tools with citizens, first-responder organisations, and technology tools developers. 

The event is free and will take place via Teams on October 5th, between 9 and 11 CET.
